The Holztiger Donkey Lying is hand-carved from sustainably sourced (PEFC-certified) maple and beech wood, native to southern Germany, and handcrafted in Romania. Each figure is individually hand-painted with non-toxic, water-based watercolors that let the natural wood grain show through, then sealed with a protective water-based lacquer.
