Brand Spotlight: Finger in the Nose

Don’t get caught without your Finger in the Nose.
Yep, we said it. This week, we’re spotlighting one of our favorite brands, Finger in the Nose. The collection is the epitome of California cool, interpreted through the eyes of the brands’ French design team. Tailored jeans, graphic tees and cozy knits make up the majority of the line. We’re loving their rock and roll meets west coast surfer vibes, and are sharing more about why you should too.
Who’s wearing FITN? The line appeals to an older kid, one whose wardrobe has an urban feel and a bold attitude. He rocks his fitted bottoms with a pair of vans and an oversized hoodie, while she opts for a relaxed denim romper and a graphic trucker hat. As the brand says, they “design clothes capable of following contemporary kids everywhere, everyday and for a long time to come.”
Why do we love it? Here at YOYA we look for pieces that blow us away with their comfort, style and quality. FITN checks all three boxes in a major way. Their pieces are made from european fabrics and built to withstand the test of time - i.e. school, playgrounds, vacations and all the washes in between. They’ve perfected their design and created a fit different than you see from traditional American brands. It combines the relaxed look of the surf/skate culture, with the fitted feel of european tailoring.
Standout pieces? Denim. Jeans are a staple in every FITN collection, and we know we can turn to the brand for really great denim that is soft, stylish and easy for kids to wear. We also can’t get enough of their graphic tees. We love their original designs and how they’re able to pop right off the fabric. Some of our favorites this season include Bart Simpson hitting up a Venice skate park, as well as a New York graphic featuring all of our favorite boroughs.
